The Valeton GP-150 / GP-180 Kirk & James Pack gives you a collection of ready-to-use tones inspired by the iconic rhythm, clean, lead, and high-gain guitar sounds associated with Kirk Hammett & James Hetfield -style playing.

The pack includes 10 custom NAM A2 captures and 10 custom Valeton GP-150 / GP-180 presets, covering classic thrash tones, heavy rhythm sounds, and powerful high-gain tones.

The presets are inspired by selected Metallica songs from different eras, with each tone created as an independent interpretation for use with the Valeton GP-150 and GP-180.

🔊 NAM CAPTURES & AMPS:

The included NAM A2 captures were created using carefully selected amplifier tones based around:

• Mesa/Boogie Mark VII – using the Mark IIC+ mode

• Splawn Competition 50

These amp tones provide the foundation for the different clean, rhythm, crunch, and high-gain sounds included in the pack.

Various custom IR blends were used together with Match EQ processing to shape the final sound and get the tones as close as possible to the character and response of the referenced recordings.

The NAM A2 captures can be used inside the included presets or loaded separately to create your own custom Valeton GP-150 / GP-180 rigs.

Because they are native NAM A2 captures, they can also be used with other NAM A2-compatible devices and software on PC or Mac.
